Day 532 Avoid the “hormone of death” - keep the cortisol value low by running 20-30 minutes every day 🏃‍♂️❤️🧠 During my run I continue to listen to the audiobook Brain Strong of Anders Hansen, and when someone visit him as doctor with heavy stress related problems …… he advice calming pills 💊 ….. therapy or ………. Running, what what?!?!!? Running as a cure for stress? 😳 Yes, regarding to research, daily runs over a long period of time improves the front lobe who is necessary to keep our stress system in balance. It also shows that cortisol value decrease over time which means we will be able to keep calm in general, not just during our runs. Also in our every days ✨😃 In a normal runstreak it’s recommended to aim for 20 minutes practice instead of doing the distance to be able to manage with the streak. The same for the Runstreak365 where you need to aim for like a 45 minutes run, and 30 if you are in good condition. Anders recommend 20-30 minutes run to avoid stress ….. so, I guess either if you aim for a runstreak or a Runstrak365, that are inside the frame to run, to prevent stress 🌟 It’s really cool to understand more where stress comes from and how it’s generated inside …… of us! ✨🧠And it’s a reason why I’m in front of a stair in this picture, see it as a metaphor for my life, I’ve been almost on top of it …….. fall right back down and now start to climb the first steps again. Toxic workplace, lost work, high mortgage, family challenges, start a new family ……. You have no idea how much I need my Runstreak365 and daily runs to keep calm and gather force to take my steps up again, and you know what, I don’t think I’m alone in this situation?!
